Dateline Delhi

Back in Delhi. After a snatched 20 hour holiday between student life and home life. Had a reason to breathe and an excuse to slouch around in bed all day.
Delhi welcomed me with a 1+1 offer on Subway. Pity I couldn't go. Diwali is family time. So last night was spent having scotch in a family setting. I rather liked it. These were all my first cousins, and it had been a long time since I'd seen a lot of 'em. twas also nice to see some people who aren't cut out from the same template as me. They don't speak English, are not on Orkut, facebook and twitter, and are not really interested in the emancipation of womankind.

And what follows is probably the most important update of this space. For any one's who's been here the last 3 years, or has known me for longer, all my gyaan and other randomly rabid things that you've contracted, now come to a head. W+K, who I talked about in the last post, have decided to see me, at least. I'm pretty high on life right now. An interview call is the toe in, and like always I'm sure my six-foot-three-inch-torso-with-a-high-on-octane-brain would take this forward.

Haven't you always thought I'm rather full of myself? Time to let go.

See you on the other side of midnight, which for me is on the 3rd of November. Wherever you're in the world, say a little prayer for me.

As I would for you, today, on Diwali, the mother of all festivals in India.

Commerce is not a nice thing, eh?
